The Sydney Italian Wine and Food Festival is on again this year at the Sydney Town Hall, Australia.
Date: Sunday August 30
This years festival is about celebrating amazing wine and food with an Italian style featuring over 300 Italian wines. Included on the list are a group of Australian wine makers who are making premium wine from Italian grapes. Plus festival visitors can shop for cheese, butter, salami, pastries, honey, gelato, olive oil, fresh bread and more.
And don’t forget to attend the festivals wine masterclasses hosted by wine journalists Huon Hooke and Max Allen where you can choose from four different time slots, with each session running for approximately an hour and featuring up to ten Italian wines. But you might miss out if you don’t book a seat prior to the event. For bookings, go to the Sydney Italian Wine Food website here.
In addition, the wine and food festival boasts some of the top Italian chefs in Australia who will be hosting amazing cooking demonstrations, plus many more food and wine events to choose from. And when ready you’ll be able to make your way over to the wine garden for a wine or two whilst enjoying an array of live Italian jazz.
Oh and don’t forget to visit the Negroni Bar for a cocktail or two. And and and try the new Espresso Martini Bar serving a wonderful creamy mix of espresso and vodka delights.
In total the Italian Wine and Food Festival entertainment sessions will run from the morning until 9 pm at night with a festival DJ playing tunes throughout the day.
So have fun everyone and enjoy the day.
